my first pinewood derby

Tuesday night was my first pinewood derby. My car's name is Herbie (the derby) Car. I painted it all by myself. Dad helped me cut it out and sand it. I got to race a lot. Came in 6th place out of 10. We all got a ribbon. We ate nachos and cookies. I had a lot of fun. Can't wait until next year.

    It was a fun night. I enjoyed seeing your car do its flip thingy. Just like the real Herbie. Good job on the car's design and paint job. I'm glad you got a ribbon.
